Meeting Information

The city of Little Rock conducted a Community Engagement Meeting #1 on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. located at CALS Main Library (Darragh Center - 5th Floor), 100 Rock Street Little Rock, Arkansas to provide an opportunity for public input on the proposed I-30 Deck Park Planning Study between 6th and 9th streets in Little Rock, Arkansas. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the concept of a Deck Park between 6th and 9th streets, outline the schedule of the planning study, and present strategies to align with city plans and programming.



Meeting Goal

The intention of this study is to gather public input, assess community needs, and develop and evaluate feasible concepts for the deck park. The potential benefits of the I-30 Deck Park include reconnecting the east and west sides of Little Rock, providing a safe and desirable pedestrian/bicycle crossing and a gathering place that would help rejoin the community.

This meeting was an open-forum style with no formal presentations. 

Meeting materials and comment forms will be available on the study website beginning February 9, 2026. Comment forms will be accepted until Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
